During Manuela Berchtold’s moguls career, she had an impressive 42 World Cup starts between 1997 to 2006. She made four top 10 World Cup finishes with her best World Cup result 8th in Lake Placid in 2004. She competed in three World Championships.

Making the Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002 and Torino in 2006, she exceeded her goal of a top 16 finish placing 14th at Torino. 

Growing up in Jindabyne, her school cohort included Olympians Alice Chilcott, Jono Brauer, AJ Bear, Craig Branch and Bard Wall.

Manuela is very well known in her home town on Jindabyne, having been the owner and instructor at High Country Fitness.

She has trained current athletes Sami Kennedy-Sim, Adam Lambert, Adam Dickson, to name a few.
