Sam Hall came into moguls skiing at 13 years of age at Perisher. 

He made his World Cup debut in 2009. Having just missed selection for Vancouver 2010, he came back for the 2012/2013 World Cup season after 12 months out of the sport due to an injury. He placed 8th in the Inawashiro Japan that season, his best World Cup result. 

Hall competed in three World Championships. In 2013, he placed 6th in the Dual Moguls in Voss Norway, his best international result of his career. 

He made his Olympic debut in 2014 at the Sochi Games, placing 24th.
