Coady clinches bronze in big air and record Aussie medal count

Tess Coady has finished the 2023 Snowboard and Freestyle Skiing World Championships for Australia on the podium, taking home a bronze medal in the big air snowboard event in Bakuriani, Georgia. This is the most medals for Australia at a World Championships, with six medals, including four silver and two bronze.

Three Australian snowboarders are lining up at the Snow Rodeo event in Calgary this week to compete for World Cup glory. One is Sascha Elvy. Sixteen years old and standing on and standing on the doorstep of her World Cup debut this weekend.

Guseli achieves incredible milestone; Graham podiums again

Teen snowboard prodigy Valentino Guseli has created history to become only the fourth snowboarder to podium in all three park and pipe disciplines of big air, slopestyle and halfpipe, and the first rider to ever achieve the feat in the one season after a double podium performance in Mammoth Mountain, USA.

Aussie medals flow at X-Games and World Cup

Another weekend of record performances for Australia's leading winter sports athletes, with the highlight being an incredible three medal performance on the opening day of the X-Games in Aspen, USA, with gold to Scotty James, silver to Tess Coady and bronze for Valentino Guseli. Jakara Anthony also took home her fifth World Cup medal of the season.

Snow Australia hosted the inaugural Park & Pipe Talent Combine in Jindabyne this week, bringing together 21 of Australia’s brightest Park & Pipe prospects for a three day camp at the National Snow Training Centre (NSTC), and on snow at Perisher Resort.

Snowboarder Jesse Parkinson receives Tier 1 SAHOF Scholarship

Up and coming park and pipe snowboarder Jesse Parkinson is one of six athletes selected in Tier 1 of the program and will receive $10,000 to go towards their training and competition, as well as one-on-one mentoring from some of the greats of Australian sport.
