Why I love Competing:
I love competing because I get to compete with the best in the world. There is no better feeling than crossing the finish line after a Downhilland being in the mix. It is a crazy sport, full of ups and downs but when you have that one run where everything is perfect, that's what it is all about :D |
How did you get into the sport:
I started sit skiing 3 months after my motorbike accident and I loved it! The next year I moved to Perisher and got involved with Disabled Winter Sports Australia and I had an awesome instructor Tom (who is now our development coach). From there I was skiing every day and then I was approached by Paralympics Australia who asked if I wanted to do a talent camp after I was asked to be on the national development team where I started training with the team. |

Any training tips:
Keep going, it isn't going to be an easy journey. Train hard in the gym and find ways to challenge yourself. | |
