Competing Overseas
To compete overseas in FIS sanctioned competitions there are prequisites required before you can be included on an official entry form. Please view the information below to make sure you understand your obligations as requirements may vary between disciplines.

Entering FIS Sanctioned Events
Snow Australia remains the single point of entry for Australian skiers and snowboarders competing internationally in FIS sanctioned events (including New Zealand).
To be entered in FIS events you must:
1. Membership
Be a current Snow Australia member and registered with your respective FIS discipline.

2. Insurance
Have insurance in place which provides sufficient cover as per FIS Rules.

3. Event Expression of Interest
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to Snow Australia listing events you would like to be considered for.
- Alpine competitors can have their coach apply for a Coach Authorisation Letter allowing them to submit FIS event entries on their behalf. More details here.
- Please note: By submitting an EOI does not guarantee your entry. Further to meeting the above requirements entries are limited to those competitors that meet the respective selection criteria and any quota limitations applied by FIS or the event organisers. More details here.
