2022 NSWACT XC Rollerski Challenge

Events & Schedule
Sunday
- 8:00 - Rollerski & Number Pick-Up
- 9:00 - Sprint Time Trial (no finals)
- 1.2km All classes U16 and up
- 600m U12 - 10:00 - Distance Interval Start
- 10km Men & Women - Open & Masters
- 5km U16 (or anyone else who wants to)
- 1.2km U12 - 11:00 - Event Conclusion
Open / Masters Categories - Snow Australia Sport Racer members or higher
All Snow Australia members in the Open, U20 or Masters categories will be supplied with Swix Triac Carbon rollerskis for use in the races. Rollerskis will be allocated randomly. Each competitor must supply their own boots and poles. All competitors must be current Snow Australia XC Sport Racer members (or higher), or hold an international FIS licence from another nation.
- U20 Junior (born 2002-2005)
- Masters (turn 40 or over in 2021, born 1981 or earlier)
Open / Masters Categories - Snowracer Members
Open or Masters category participants supplying their own rollerskis can enter without holding Sport Racer membership, but must have an active Snow ID. To check your Snow ID or to register for the first time go to the Snowracer site.
Junior Categories
Junior competitors in the U16 and U12 categoriesmust be have a current Snow Australia membership of any category (including Snowracer)
- U16 Junior (born 2006-2009)
- U12 Junior (born 2010 or later)
Entry Fees
- Open / U20 / Masters (Snow AUS Sport Racer) - $25 (includes $10 towards use of rollerskis)
- Open / U20 / Masters (Snowracer) - $20
- U16 (Snow AUS Sport Racer) - $10
- U16 (Snow AUS Snowracer) - $15
- U12 (All) - $10
Entry deadline is Friday March 25
Helmets & Safety Equipment
An Australian Standards approved cycle helmet must be worn. Knee & elbow guards are optional.
COVID-19 Protocols
These competitions will follow Snow Australia's COVID-19 protocols for rollerski events. This includes hand hygiene and physical distancing, as well as sanitising of equipment. All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) must not attend an event if they:
- Have tested positive to Covid-19 but have not yet cleared their isolation period;
- Have a sore throat, cough, cold or flu like symptoms, with fever or respiratory symptoms;
- Have been exposed to anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 10 days;
- Have been tested for COVID-19 but have not received the results.
Please note that QR check-in is no longer required for these type of events in the ACT.
