Who

The course is suitable for first time judges wishing to get into judging at NATIONAL level events Thredbo Series / Interschools / AJFC etc as well as experienced judges looking to refresh and re-certify for the coming year. Prior experience in judging, coaching or as an athlete is required.
*An INTERNATIONAL FIS A+B level 2 day training course will occur in 2023, in conjunction with an annual NATIONAL level intro/refresher

Online Judging Education Platform

To complete the clinic on the night you will be required to be able to access the FIS online judging education platform.
So please make sure you have signed up and accessed this site prior to the clinic.
You must also have completed this short course prior to the clinic:

Pre-Requisites

• Should have a minimum of 5 years freeski or snowboarding experience

• Should have an intermediate knowledge of freeski or snowboard tricks

• Should be good in the English language

• Previous competition experience recommended

• Completed the online FIS Judging philosphy, ethics and conduct course.

Judge Requirements 2022/23

A FIS C judging licence can not be issued until these are completed.
nb WWCC needs to be applied for in EACH state you will be working in

• Sport Integrity: Introduction To Match Fixing [Required]

All participants must arrange their own accommodation and travel.

Cost

The P+P Judges Clinic is $66 (AUD) which includes a Judge/Officials membership for 2022-23.
For those that are already a financial member (any category) of Snow Australia, there is no charge to participate in the clinic.
When registering you must at the least have a free SnowRacer SnowID.
