AUSXC Junior/U23 Camp, AIS, April 2018

This annual Junior/U23 Camp at the AIS has three main purposes - physiological testing and benchmarking, team and individual reviews, and sport science education. The 2018 Australian Rollerski Championship on April 14 also forms part of the program.

Dates: Tuesday-Sunday, April 10-15
Location: AIS, Canberra
Athletes: National Team athletes and invited guests only
Activities: V02 Max Testing, DP Tests, strength tests, 2018 Australian Rollerski Championship, individual reviews and sport science information sessions.
Coaches: National Team Head Coach Valerio Leccardi, 2018 World Junior Championship Coach Rob Jones
Cost: $275 (including 5 nights accommodation & full-board at the AIS, testing costs, blood tests and rollerski race entry.)
- plus $175 for any non-team athletes

Note that actual costs for this camp are approximately $700, with SSA covering the rest with assistance from an Olympic Solidarity grant.

PRE-REQUISITES

All camp participants are required to complete a number of myAISbasecamp modules before the commencement of the camp.
