VIC XC's Come and Try Rollerskiing session at the Teardrop Loop in Studley Park is open to junior cross country skiers in years 9-12.
Rollerskiing uses short skis with a wheel at either end, and the same boots and bindings used for cross country skiing on snow. The Discover XC website provides more information.

- Studley Park Teardrop. Meet at the entrance to the Teardrop Loop
Who
- Cross country skiers in years 9-12 at school. Cross country skiing experience helps, but is not essential.
- Sessions are run by experienced cross country ski coaches and athletes.
Registration & Equipment
Registration is free via this page. Rollerskis, boots and poles are supplied for the session. The number of boots in different sizes is limited, so participants should bring their own if they have them, and indicate binding type (NNN or SNS) on the registration.
All participants must bring and use their own helmet. Cycling helmets are ideal. Elbow and shin guards are optional. Drink bottles are recommended.
VICXC Ski Team Information Session
An information session for parents and athletes will be held at the Abbotsford Convent at 10:30am. Interested participants should contact Anna Trnka on anna.trnka@hotmail.com.au or via 0421 117 280.
Victorian Rollerski Races - April 29-30
Participants in the Come and Try sessions are welcome to spectate at (or enter) the Victorian Rollerski Sprint event held at the same venue that afternoon.
