SOUTH AUSTRALIA INTERSCHOOLS SNOWSPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

SA Interschools Snowsport Championships are part of the National Interschools Series run by Snow Australia. The SA-organised event provides an opportunity for SA primary and secondary students to learn and showcase their skiing or snowboarding skills, competing for trophies for their schools. Children can enter individually or combine as a pair, trio or foursome to represent a school for more trophy opportunities. Beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders are all welcome.

Confirmed competitive times at the Championships may provide the opportunity to enter the Australian National Interschools Snowsport Championships.  This provides a pathway for SA snow sport athletes to compete at a national level against some of the best junior athletes in Australia.

EVENT AND ENTRY INFORMATION

Location:  Falls Creek

Events and Schedule: 

Cost:  $50 per discipline, per discipline (2 runs down the course in each event). 

Entries:  Entries will close July 14 at 12pm

Helmets:  Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the Time Trial.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate. Please note that race suits will not be permitted.

Entry Requirements: All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snowracer Membership, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2023. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snowracer membership first to complete your entry.

All participants must also complete the online participant waiver.
