Snow Australia's Come and Try Rollerskiing session at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra is open to newcomers of all levels from juniors through to adults, including Para participants. A limited number of sit-skis will be available.

Rollerskiing uses short skis with a wheel at either end, and the same boots and bindings used for cross country skiing on snow. The Discover XC website provides more information.

• Sunday April 7 - 9:00-10:30am

• Stromlo Forest Park. Meet at the entrance to the Criterium Track.

Who

• Newcomers of all levels from juniors through to adults, including Para  participants. Cross country skiing experience helps, but is not essential.
• Sessions are run by experienced cross country ski coaches and athletes.

Registration & Equipment

Registration is free via this page. Rollerskis, boots and poles are supplied for the session. The number of boots in different sizes is limited, so participants should bring their own if they have them, and indicate binding type (NNN or SNS) on the registration.

All participants must bring and use their own helmet. Cycling helmets are ideal. Elbow and shin guards are optional.

This April introductory session is for participants with limited rollerskiing experience. Experienced rollerskiers are welcome to sign up for the regular Sunday rollerskiing sessions from April to June leading into the winter. Further information is available via the NSWACTXC Team App.
