SOUTH AUSTRALIAN / TAS / NT INTERSCHOOLS SNOWSPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

South Australian/TAS/NT  Interschools Snowsport Championships are part of the National Interschools Series run by Snow Australia. The event provides an opportunity for SA/TAS/NT primary and secondary students to compete for thier school in any of the following disciplines: Alpine, Snowboard GS, Ski Cross and Snowboard Cross. 

Confirmed competitive times at the Championships may provide the opportunity to enter the Australian National Interschools Snowsport Championships.  This provides a pathway for SA/TAS/NT snow sport athletes to compete at a national level against some of the best junior athletes in Australia.

Division: 

Participants can enter individually and enter into the following school year divisions:

Division 1 - Year 11 and 12

Division 2 - Year 9 and 10

Division 3 - Year 7 and 8

Division 4 - Year 5 and 6

Division 5 - Year 4 and below

Division 6 - Kindergarten to Year 2 (available for Alpine and Ski Cross only, for snowboard events enter Division 5).

Cost:  In 2024 there will be two levels of entry fees. Please note that the entry fees do not include your lift ticket.

Early Bird Entry Fee: $50 per event, per competitor.

Payment will be part of the online entry system.

Entries:  

Helmets:  Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the Time Trial.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate. Please note that race suits will not be permitted.

Entry Requirements:

All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snowracer Membership, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2023. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snowracer membership first to complete your entry.
