The Falls Creek Schools Carnival hosts a variety of individual and team events open to school aged competitors, with the Amelia McGuiness Foundation Time Trail being open to school aged and adults competitors. 

These events include Amelia McGuiness Time Trial, Regional NSW Interschools Championships, Falls Creek Regional Schools Event and the ASSSTC event. Competitors may choose to enter any of these event.

Disciplines:

Participants can enter individually into the following disciplines:

• Alpine
• Ski Cross
• Snowboard GS
• Snowboard Cross
• Cross Country - Classic
• Moguls

Please indicate if you would like to participate in Cross Country - Relay. School teams will be dependent on the number of entries.

Divisions: 

Participants can enter individually and enter into the following school year divisions:

Division 1 - Year 11 and 12

Division 2 - Year 9 and 10

Division 3 - Year 7 and 8

Division 4 - Year 5 and 6

Division 5 - Year 4 and below

Division 6 - Kindergarten to Year 2 (available for Alpine and Ski Cross only, for snowboard events enter Division 5).

Cost:  In 2024 the event entry fees for all events hosted during the Falls Creek Schools Carnival are $45 per event, per competitor. Please note that the entry fees do not include your lift ticket. 

The XC Relay is free to all XC Classic competitors.

Payment will be required when completing online entries.

Entries:  

Helmets:  Helmet use is mandatory for all participants (including adults) whilst on course for inspection and during the events.  Any participants who arrive at the top of the course without a helmet will not be able to participate.

Race Suits: Race suits are only permitted in Secondary aged (Divisions 1, 2, 3) Alpine and Snowboard GS Events. Race suits will not be permitted for Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross and Moguls events at any division level. Cross Country event competitors may wear race suits so long as that all bare skin is covered, including gloves on hands.

Entry Requirements:

All Participants must have a Snow Australia Snowracer Membership, which is free of charge, to compete. If you have competed in the Interschools before, you will already be a member, so you just need to renew your Snowracer membership for 2024. If you are competing for the first time, you will need to sign up for a Snowracer membership first to complete your entry.
