The AUSXC Junior Development Tour is a 4-week international development program for athletes aged approximately 16-18 (born predominantly 2000-2002). The Tour will be led by coaches iris Pessey and Phillip Bellingham. Daily training will include sessions at both the Silver Star and Sovereign Lake trails. At the end of the trip the team will compete at an Alberta Cup event in Canmore.

The main athletic aims of the trip are:

1. Increasing training time on snow;Improving skiing technique;
2. Learning how to travel, train and race as a team;
3. Learning to manage fatigue, recovery and nutrition while on the road, and;
4. Building cohesion with future National Team team-mates.

Deposit
