2025 Australian Junior Distance Championships - Freestyle
Organised for Snow Australia XC Committee by NSWACT XC Committee. 
This is a FIS endorsed event.

Individual freestyle races will be conducted near the Perisher Nordic Shelter on Sunday 31 August 

Start Time
10:00 am TBC pending snow conditions.

Race Office
The Race Office at the Nordic Shelter will be open on race day. 

Online Entries
Online entries will close on Thursday 28 August at midnight.  Late entries will not be accepted.

MWU12 - Born 2013 or later
MWU14 - Born 2011 - 2012
MWU16 - Born 2009 - 2010
MWU18 - Born 2007 - 2008
MWU20 - Born 2005 - 2006

Race Distances - SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO SNOW CONDITIONS
WU12 - 1.5km        MU12 - 1.5km
WU14 - 2.5km        MU14 - 2.5km
WU16 - 5km          MU16 - 5km
WU18 & WU20  - 7.5km   MU18 & MU20  -  7.5km

Presentation
Presentations will be held outside of the Nordic Shelter shortly after the event.

• These races follow the FIS and Snow Australia no-fluor waxing policy. Evidence of the use of fluorinated waxes will lead to disqualification. More information is available on the Snow Australia website.

All entrants of all ages must have at a minimum a free Snow Australia SNOWID in order to enter most events.

A Sport race licence is required for State and National Junior championships. Snowracer is accepted up to 13 yrs old for the State event at Perisher.

Information for Australian Sprint Championship participants:

The Australian Championships are held on behalf of the National Cross Country Committee of Snow Australia (SAXC).

All intending participants must have a current Snow Australia race licence of Sports Class or higher (e.g. National or International).
