WHAT IS IT:
The SSA Futures: Falls Creek XC Development Camp is a Talent Identification (TID), athlete development and cross country skier education initiative by SSA with support from the Victorian XC Ski Team.
The program aims to build on the cross country racing exposure that students have experienced via Interschools participation by showcasing the opportunities available in the XC sport pathway. Participants will experience what to expect training as part of the Junior VIC XC Ski Development Squad, which is the feeder program to the Victorian Junior Squad. The program will increase participant’s knowledge of the athlete pathway and will showcase “what it takes” to become an elite athlete.
