Looking to update your knowledge of dryland ski training techniques?
A SSA Level 1 Cross Country Skiing Community Coach Dryland module will be held at the Melbourne Girls Grammar in South Yarra on Friday April 5.
The Level 1 XC Community Coaching courses are designed for coaches, teachers and parents working with athletes at club and Interschool level and consist of three components:
- Dryland Practical
- On-snow Practical
- Online Theory
This Dryland Practical course focuses on dryland training methods and includes an introduction to ski bounding, rollerskiing and strength training.
The course runs from 10:00am to 2:30pm on the Friday, including a break for lunch. All participants who are not already members of SSA are required to register for Free Snowracer membership via the Snowracer website.
All participants are expected to participate in the physical activities of the session, including the rollerskiing if they have their own equipment. However the rollerskiing component is not mandatory.
Pre-requisites: All participant are required to complete the Sport Australian Community Coaching General Principles, online through the Sport Australia website prior to attending the course. Proof of completion (or other RPL) should be sent to Ronice Goebel on: ronice.goebel@gmail.com

Where: Melbourne Girls Grammar, 86 Anderson Street, South Yarra.
When: 10:00am to 2:30pm on Friday April 5
Course Fee: $90. Please login using your Snow ID (or register via Snowracer if you don't yet have one).
