Want to learn how to ski and snowboard or cross country ski before hitting the slopes this winter? Ski & Snowboard Australia is offering a choice of two "off snow" programs for primary aged children in Canberra aimed at teaching children the basics of snow sports, utilising custom-made modified equipment built specifically for off snow use.
You can either sign up for Little Shredders (Ski & Snowboard) OR Little Gliders (Cross Country Skiing).
The program involves 4 lessons (45 minutes per lesson) over 4 weeks. Each lesson will build on the skills learned in the previous lesson.
*Please note that the sessions are run at the same time so you can only register for either Little Shredders or Little Gliders.
Who Can Register
The program is free and is offered to children:
- Little Shredders - Kindergarten to Year 6
- Little Gliders - Year 3 to Year 6
To register for either program you must have Snow ID. A Snow ID is obtained by membership with Ski & Snowboard Australia.
You can become a Snowracer member for free. You can look up Snow ID here: https://www.snowracer.com.au/member-finder/ or new participants can be registered here: www.snowracer.com.au/registration/
