2019 Ski and Boot Locker Hire - Nordic Shelter
2019 Season Costs:
Ski Bag Locker - $150
Boot Locker - $110
Key Deposit - $30 (Payable once only at initial hire. Pay only if requested on your Locker info letter)
Thank you for your request for ski equipment storage at the Nordic Shelter. Aside from providing a service, the lockers provide a much-needed sustainable fundraising opportunity for the Nordic Shelter.
These are the Conditions that you agree to with your payment:
- Season rental - $150 (incl GST) for each ski locker and $110 (incl GST) for each boot locker, plus a one-time refundable deposit of $30 for keys and locks.
- Insurance – as is the case at all mountain accommodation and facilities, it is expected that personal equipment is covered under the owners’ own home insurance for fire, theft, etc. Ski & Snowboard Australia/the Nordic Shelter does not insure loss or damage to personal equipment or possessions in the Nordic Shelter. Ski & Snowboard Australia/the Nordic Shelter also does not provide personal accident cover for users of Nordic Shelter facilities.
- Security – A key is provided for each boot locker, a padlock and key is provided for each ski bag rack with a keypad to the downstairs storeroom to access the racks and lockers.
- Access to the ski store is limited to your family members only. Do not give access to the ski store to any other person. For security reasons, people who have not agreed to the conditions do not have permission to be in the ski store area. Feel free to provide your own lock for the ski bag rack, but leave the original lock on the chain so Nordic Shelter staff can access the locker if required. If necessary, have additional keys cut (lockers keys have to be cut by a locksmith). At the end of the season, please return the keys that have been issued to you for your refund, and if you wish, any additional keys. If you plan to keep your locker/s next season, please keep your keys and inform us.
- The Nordic Shelter has made the storage as practical as possible. Every attempt has been made to make the storage secure and safe. Please help by closing and locking the door behind you. Do not give the ski store code to people who do not have lockers.
- Use of the storage facilities is at each user’s risk. Users are responsible for locking up their equipment and the ski bag storage room each time they use it.
- A CC camera has been installed to improve security in the Ski Store area.
Boot lockers – Located in the back room of the Ski Store
-
- The locker will hold several boots, waxes, iron, etc.
- Personal supplies can be stored, but food is problematic. Please do not store food that will go off and/or attract vermin. Lockers may be inspected if it is suspected that inappropriate food is being stored.
Ski Bag Storage – Locked rack storage located in the Ski Store (downstairs storeroom)
-
- The ski rack will hold one generous or two average ski bags
- NOTE: to be secure, all skis, poles etc. should be stored in a sturdy ski bag. If only short skis are in the bag, you must include a 2 meter dowel, plastic conduit or similar. The racks have to be suitable for long skis, so it may be possible to lift out a short ski bag – the dowel will prevent that.
- Do not overload your ski locker so that it crowds your neighbours.
Access – New snow will make access to the Ski Store difficult. All users are expected to help keep the access clear and safe. Please talk to the Shelter Manager to find out how you can help.
Payment indicates your acceptance of the Conditions. If conditions are breached you will be asked to rectify the problem. If that cannot be done, you will be asked to vacate your locker/s.
