2021 ACT Rollerski Time Trial

This event replaces the Snow Australia FIS Rollerski International, which has been postponed to February 13-14 due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

Sunday

  • 8:00 - Rollerski & Number Pick-Up
  • 9:00 - Interval Start - 10km Men & Women - Open & Masters
  • 10:00 - Junior Event TBC if enough interest
  • 10:30 - Event Conclusion

Open Events - Snow Australia XC Base or FIS members

All competitors in the open category event will be supplied with Swix Triac Carbon rollerskis for use in the races. Rollerskis will be allocated randomly on each day of competition. Each competitor must supply their own boots and poles. All competitors must be Snow Australia XC Base or FIS members.

Junior / Masters / Snowracer members

Depending on numbers, it may be possible for Junior / Masters / Snowracer participants to be supplied with the Swix rollerskis. All competitors must be have a current Snow Australia membership of any category (including Snowracer)

  • Masters (turn 40 or over in 2021, born 1981 or earlier)
  • U16 Junior (born 2006-2009)
  • U12 Junior (born 2010 or later)

Entry Fees

  • Open / Masters (Snow AUS XC Base Members) - $10  
  • Open / Masters (Snowracer members) - $15
  • U16 - $5 (Snow AUS XC Base Members)
  • U16 - $10 (Snowracer members)
  • U12 - $5

Entry deadline is Friday January 15.

Helmets & Safety Equipment

An Australian Standards approved cycle helmet must be worn. Knee & elbow guards are optional.

COVID-19 Protocols

These competitions will follow Snow Australia's COVID-19 protocols for rollerski events. This includes hand hygiene and physical distancing, as well as sanitising of equipment. All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) must not attend an event if they:

  • Have a sore throat, cough, cold or flu like symptoms, with fever or respiratory symptoms;
  • Have been exposed to anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days;
  • Have returned to Australia or from an identified COVID-19 hotspot within the last 14 days;
  • Have been tested for COVID-19 but have not received the results.

In general, participants should adopt a "get in, race, get out" approach.

Check-In Canberra

Upon arrival to the event registration all participants should scan the event QR code using the Check In CBR App. Please plan ahead and download the app in advance.
