By utilising the New South Wales Institute of Sport (NSWIS), the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) and the ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) the quality of testing is assured. Complete objectivity and uniformity can be expected across all institutes.

The May testing window should be considered baseline testing, to give each athlete a good understanding of the current strengths and areas of opportunity. Following baseline testing, SSA will publish generic physical programming to assist athletes make changes before the beginning of the ski season.
