Snow Australia's Adult Rollerski Coaching sessions at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra wil be held on six Sundays during May and June.
Rollerskiing uses short skis with a wheel at either end, and the same boots and bindings used for cross country skiing on snow. The Discover XC website provides more information.
The sessions are open to all participants at advanced beginner or intermediate level. School aged participants should instead sign up for the Junior Rollerskiing and Training for Interschools sessions via the NSWACTXC Team App.
Coaching
The coaching staff involved in both junior and adult sessions throughout the term include:
- Finn Marsland, former National Team coach and accredited Level 2 Coach
- Bentley Walker-Broose, National Team athlete and accredited Level 1 Coach
- Emily Champion, National Team athlete and trained Level 1 Coach
- Seve de Campo, National Team athlete and soon to be trained Coach

Registration
Registration is necessary for all rollerskiers wishing to take part in the coaching sessions. The cost for ACT school term 2 is $100, including six sessions. Participants may also register for individual days at $25/session.
Just want to rollerski with others around? Proficient rollerskiers are welcome to rollerski on the criterium track at the same time that the sessions are on, without paying a coaching fee.
Equipment
A limited supply of rollerski equipment is available to loan for the term. Participants should bring their own equipment if they have them, including an approved cycling helmet.
COVID-19 Protocols
These competitions will follow Snow Australia's COVID-19 protocols. This includes hand hygiene and physical distancing, as well as sanitising of any shared equipment. All participants (including officials, volunteers and spectators) must not attend an event if they:
- Are unwell, including but not exclusive to cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms.
- Have been in close contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID 19, until they have completed the prescribed quarantine, even if they are symptom free or tested negative.
- Have returned from any COVID-19 hotspots on alert by ACT Health or NSW Health, until they have completed the prescribed quarantine, even if they are symptom free or tested negative.
- They have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results.
In general, participants should adopt a "get in, participate, get out" approach.

Upon arrival to the event registration all participants should scan the event QR code using the Check In CBR App. Please plan ahead and download the app in advance.
