The Alpine National Skills Assessment is a Ski & Snowboard Australia initiative to help promote the importance of skill development and to allow aspiring Interschools athletes and SSA Pathway athletes, coaches and parents the ability to track development over time.

All participants are required to have an active SSA Alpine Membership.
The National Skills Assessment is a critically important initiative and as such has been included in the SSA Alpine Membership fee structure. The 2017 membership structure has been simplified, with the fee restructured within the National Alpine Committee budget to offer greater value and more inclusions. The new Alpine Registration categories are:
• Club Racer
• Alpine Rookie
• Alpine Junior Racer
• Alpine Racer
• FIS Injury Status
Who is it for?
The National Skills Assessment is open to everyone, whether they are club members, or involved in seasonal ski school programs. Whether you are targeting interschools competition, SSA and FIS events, or the World Cup in alpine or Ski Cross, the National Skills Assessment will help you achieve your goals. All athletes wanting to take part must register directly for this Skills Assessment.
Program Fees
Fees for the National Skills Assessment are included in your SSA membership. If you have not renewed your membership for 2017 please click here.
Lift Tickets
Lift tickets are not included, all participants must have a valid lift pass to take part.

Eligibility
All participants are required to have an active SSA Alpine Membership. New in 2017 is the Club Racer category for all athletes focusing on non- SSA/FIS events such as interschools and club events.
