Discipline: Snowboard Cross Olympic Participation: Beijing 2022 Adam Dickson’s love for Snowboard Cross was developed during a gap year once he graduated secondary school. While being a high-level athlete prior to him going away, competing in European events self-confessed cemented his love for the sport and he has been obsessed ever since. While only narrowly missed out on the PyeongChang Olympics, he broke out on the world stage during the 2019/20 season where he claimed a Bronze Medal in the Veysonnaz World Cup and since then recorded multiple top 16 and top 8 finishes in Snowboard Cross. Adam made his Olympic Debut as part of the squad that competed in the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. In the Snowboard Cross event he stomped an impressive seeding run which guaranteed him entry in to the 1/8 final but despite a tremendous effort was unable to progress to the quarter-finals, his end result being 21st. |
