Growing up in Falls Creek, Britt was born into a mogul skiing environment, with her family passionate about mogul skiing. She used to chase her older brother Hamish around the mountain in the bumps. She competed in her first mogul competition in 2003 at 8 years old and was immediately hooked.

Britt competed in her first FIS competition at Mt. Buller at 9 years of age. Six years later at the age of 15, she made her World Cup debut at Deer Valley and just a couple weeks later she became Australia’s youngest winter Olympian since 1960 when she made her debut at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Britt was the first Australian woman to medal at Moguls World Cup in 2012 when she won the bronze at the Deer Valley World Cup.

At her second Olympics at Sochi, she finished in fifth place, at time being the highest ever placing by an Australian female mogul skier at the Olympics.

In 2015 Britt won the bronze medal at the World Championships in Kreischberg.

Without a doubt her real breakout moment came in 2016/17 season when she took seven victories and two third place finishes to win the moguls as well as the overall freestyle World Cup titles, and becoming the first Australian women to win the crystal globe in moguls. Britt capped off the season winning the World Championship title in Sierra Nevada. Australia’s first women’s Mogul World Championship win.

Britt headed into the 2018 Olympic Winter Games ranked third in the world, after winning two World Cup events earlier in the season. Britt matched her previous best Olympic result, finishing fifth in the final.

A bad crash in the Thaiwoo World Cup event in the 2019/2020 almost ended her career prematurely sustaining injuries to her ribs and collarbone.

She returned to competition in the 2020-2021 season and placed seventh in the 2021 World Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Competing in her fourth Olympics, she narrowly missed the top 12 final, finishing in 14th place.

Britt announced her retirement after the Beijing games, finishing her amazing career with four Olympic starts, World Championship gold and bronze, 16 World Cup medals including nine victories and the World Cup mogul and freestyle overall crystal globe in the 2016-2017 season. Britt leaves the sport as one of the most decorated Australian mogul skiers.
