Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin is widely-regarded as one of the world’s finest-ever Snowboard Cross athletes.

He made his Olympic debut at Vancouver 2010 and claimed the 2011 World Championship in La Molina, Spain. ‘Chumpy’ went back-to-back at the 2013 World Championships in Stoneham, Canada, becoming the first Australian snowboarder to defend a world title.

By this time Pullin had also won two World Cup Crystal Globes in 2011 and 2013.

Pullin was named to carry the Australian flag at the opening ceremony of Sochi 2014 before winning silver at the 2016 X-Games.

Pullin finished sixth at his third and final Olympic Winter Games in 2018 and rounded out his career with 20 World Cup podiums including nine victories.
