Dominic Demschar is a dual Olympian, competing in the Sochi 2014 games and the PyeongChang 2018 games. Born in Austria, his father coached Olympic athletes which is where his Olympic aspirations were first developed. He began competing internationally in 2008 and pulled on the green and gold for the first time at the 2012 Junior World Championships and then again in 2014.

He attended the University of Utah where he represented the University competing as a member of their ski team in the lead up to the 2018 Winter Games. As part of the lead up to these games, he competed around Europe earning his best race result in Slovenia where he claimed Bronze in the Giant Slalom, putting him in great stead for his second Olympic Games.

In the Sochi Games, he placed 39th in the Giant Slalom which is a fantastic result but was not able to finish his second run in the slalom. In the PyeongChang Games is where his best Olympic result came from, where he placed 33rd in the Giant Slalom but did not finish his first Slalom run.
