Jason Begg-Smith

Discipline: Freestyle Moguls Former Canadian Junior National Champion, Jason Begg-Smith moved to Australia with his brother Dale where they took up citizenship and joined the Australia Mogul Ski Team under the tutelage of Head Coach Steve Desovich. His best international results was 17th in the Dual Moguls World Championships in Ruka, Finland in 2005. Throughout his five years on the World Cup circuit, he made 26 World Cup starts, with his best result being a 19th place, just before the Torino Games at the 2006 World Cup in Spindlerub, Czech Republic. He made his Olympic debut at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, placing 29th. After the Games he retired from mogul skiing. |
