Madii competed in gymnastics at a national level for 10 years before turning her attention to winter sports in 2007. She trained with the Perisher Winter Sports Club.

She made her World Cup debut in Deer Valley on her 21^st birthday.

Her breakthrough season came one year prior to PyeongChnag, qualifying for her first full World Cup tour where she contested 10 events.  

She placed 20^th in her first World Championships

Madii qualified for the finals at her Olympic debut in PyeongChang, progressing from the second qualification round and finished 20^th overall

Madii has not experienced a smooth path to her success, having to overcome many physical and mental battles in the previous 14 years. This includes three ACL tears, back fractures, as well as mental illness. Madii's ability to prevail despite these setbacks is a testament to her strength in character, immense commitment and resilience.

She retired from elite sport in 2022 and is now focusing on her professional career.
