Nick Fisher first competed on the international circuit in 2001 and made his World Cup debut in December 2003 in Ruka, Finland, finishing 14th.
 
In the lead up to the Torino Games, this 14th placing remained his best World Cup result, grabbing a number of top 20 places as well. 

In 2005, also in Ruka, Fisher competed in his first World Championships, finishing 23rd in the moguls and 17th in the dual moguls.
 
At the 2006 Torino Games, Fisher produced outstanding runs to finish the final in 12th place. Fisher was one of four Australians to compete in the men’s mogul event, with Dale Begg-Smith famously collecting the Gold. 

Throughout his seven years on the World Cup circuit, he made 37 World Cup starts. 

Fisher has gone on to have a successful career in Engineering, which he studied while competing in Mogul skiing.
