Peter Wenzel

	Discipline: Alpine Skiing Olympic participations: Innsbruck 1964 Medal awarded in: 2020 Originally selected as a reserve for the Alpine Skiing team at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympic Games, Peter was called up to replace Ross Milne after the tragic accident that cost Milne his life, one of the two athletes who lost their life during practice at those Games. Peter competed in the Downhill, Giant Slalom and Slalom events, racing also to honour Milne's memory. He finished in 68th place in the first two events and did not qualify for the second run of the Slalom.
