Paralympic Participation: Torino 2006, Vancouver 2010, Sochi 2014

Torah Bright made her Winter Olympic debut at Torino 2006 where she finished fifth in Snowboard Halfpipe, just one point off the podium. In the following years, Bright established herself at the top of the sport, winning two X-Games gold and two silver medals in the Aspen SuperPipe.

After carrying the flag at the Vancouver 2010 opening ceremony, she went on to win the Halfpipe gold medal, Australia’s first snowboarder to ever stand atop the Olympic dais.

She backed up that achievement at Sochi 2014 with silver, just 0.25 points from first place.

Further adding to her place in history, Bright also competed in Slopestyle and Snowboard Cross in Sochi, becoming the first Olympic athlete to take part in each discipline at the same Games.
