2017 NZ Winter Games

The NZ Winter Games is once again being held this season in Cardrona bringing with it World Cup Snowboard and Free Ski events to our backyard. Given the proximity of the NZ Winter Games Ski & Snowboard Australia will be providing increased accessibility to fill Australia’s quota.

The Australian quota for World Cup events this year is:

*Includes Scotty James’ personal spot
**Includes Tess Coady’s personal spot

To be considered for entry, we ask that you submit your interest by email (info@skiandsnowboard.org.au) by close of business Wednesday 12 July indicating the event/s you would like to compete in.

Below you will find further information regarding the NZ Winter Games including the Halfpipe/Slopestyle invitations and schedule as well as a link below to the SSA World Cup Selection Criteria which you should familiarise yourself with.

New Zealand ANC Park & Pipe Expression of Interest

Preceding the NZ Winter Games, NZ will be hosting Park & Pipe (Ski and Snowboard) Australia/New Zealand Cup (ANC) events. Beginning on August 15 and running through to August 18, to compete at these events, entries need to be submitted by SKi & Snowboard Australia. To ensure you are included on the entry, please submit your expression of interest to SSA by emailing info@skiandsnowboard.org.au by July 19 confirming the event/s you would like to enter.
