An epic day yesterday at the National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC), for the 'Tess Sesh' thanks to Women of Winter x FUTURES.

Around 30 female skiers and snowboarders aged 10-18 came together for a day of workshops, training and inspiration from Aussie Olympians, including Beijing 2022 bronze medalist Tess Coady.

The Tess Sesh is a mentoring initiative for young femal riders to progress their skills at the NSTC with some of the best athletes and coaches in the Australian Park & Pipe scene.

Olympian Coady said it was great to be able to bring together female athletes for an awesome day in Jindabyne.

"It was a really great day, the sun was out, the weather was great and it was a really good vibe," Coady said.

"Opportunities like this are really great for female skiers and boarders - it can be pretty intimidating coming up to places like this (NSTC).

"Maybe you're a novice, or you're just trying to get into the sport - itt's a really great way to break down barriers and get a bunch of like minded people together.

"It's a really safe learning environment and I think that's the best part. As a grom I would've absolutely loved to have come to one of these days, so it's really great that we were able to put it on," she said.
