Alpine skier Hoffman claims seventh place in Nor-Am Cup

National Alpine Ski Team member Madison Hoffman recently claimed an exciting seventh place in the Ladies Slalom Nor-Am Cup at Olser Bluff, Canada.
The 18-year-old continues to demonstrate great promise, after placing seventh on 5 January, she backed it up with a 13th place finish the following day.
Next month, Hoffman is set to represent Australia at the Alpine Junior World Ski Championships in Italy.
Following her results in the recent Nor-Am Cup and with one eye on February, Hoffman and her coaching team have elected not to take part in any more competition until Italy.
Instead they will focus strictly on refining fundamental skills in training to continue her long-term development.
