Dual Olympian Sami Kennedy-Sim has recorded her sixth World cup top-10 of the season, finishing in ninth place in Megève, France.

Kennedy-Sim qualified for finals in eighth place, and was drawn in a tough quarter final heat that contained current number one Sandra Naeslund of Sweden.

In the quarter final, Kennedy-Sim finished was third across the line, just missing out by one place on advancing to the semi final stage.

"The conditions in Megeve were very challenging, we arrived and had 50cm of fresh snow followed by rain and warm temperatures, so the track deteriorated very quickly."

"I had a good qualifying run, finishing in 8th place. I had a fast start in by quarter final but had trouble in the first turn and was passed, finishing in third place and ninth overall.”

“The warm temperatures have forced the cancellation of our next WC in Feldberg Germany, so i am heading to Sydney to recover and train at home before I head to Russia in two weeks.”

With two events remaining for the season, Kennedy-Sim is ranked 10th on the World Cup standings.

The next event on the Ski Cross tour will take place in Sunny Valley, Russia, on February 23.
