Snow Australia FUTURES is excited to announce another collaboration with Turn & Burn to present The Readiness Camp – December Edition.

The Readiness Camp is a six-day residential camp running from 13 - 18 December at the National Snowsports Training Centre in Jindabyne. Run by Ryan Tiene from Turn & Burn Snowboard Camps, the camp is aimed at developing Snowsport athletes in all disciplines.

There are many factors that contribute to success in elite sport.  Mental strength, mindfulness and readiness are some of the more critical athlete traits that are often overlooked or underdeveloped.

With extensive experience as a former professional Park & Pipe athlete, National Team coach and current Turn & Burn Camp Director, Tiene said the Readiness Camp will help athletes face their fears and overcome the barriers that are holding them back.

“Performing tasks under pressure, when you are nervous, when you are doing something for the first time, or under judgment of your peers is hard and can sometimes be debilitating,” Tiene said.

“At the Readiness Camp we tackle your physical and psychological fears, we provide the best opportunity to find what's holding you back and give you the confidence and tools to unlock your full potential.

“With some of the highest performing action sports athletes in the world providing coaching and guidance at the Readiness Camp, we’ll use skills, challenges and reflection to take your mindset and performance to that next level,” he said.

The Camp will include a range of fun and challenging activities including Air Bag training, trampolining, mountain biking, wakeboarding and even some yoga for good measure.

Participants will learn how different athletes prepare for elite sport by engaging with industry professionals on unique topics such as mindfulness and breath work.

Places are limited so be sure to register your interest ASAP through Turn & Burn.
