Snow Australia would like to congratulate the three athletes who will travel to Norway for the Narvik 2020 FIS Alpine Junior World Championships.
Madison Hoffman, Henry Heaydon and Hugh McAdam will take part in the competition which runs from 5-14 March and incorporates Super G, Alpine Combined, Giant Slalom and Slalom races.
Snow Australia Alpine Director Shawn Fleming said it will be a great development opportunity for the trio.
“Being selected in a Junior World Championships team is always an honour and it will be a great experience for Madison, Henry and Hugh to compete in Narvik,” Fleming said.
“All three athletes will return to Australia with the valuable experience of competing on the international stage and I’m positive they will be looking to make the most of this opportunity.”
The Narvik 2020 FIS Alpine Junior World Championships will see international competition return to the ‘heart’ of Norway for the first time since 1996, when the municipality hosted the Women’s World Cup race.
