Another big weekend of on snow action in the northern hemisphere resulted in Aussies grabbing various podium results as well as personal best results. Read on to see how our Australian ski and snowboard athletes performed!
SECOND MOGULS WORLD CUP EVENT DELIVERS ANTHONY PODIUM FINISH
The FIS Freestyle Ski Moguls moved onto Thaiwoo, China for their second World Cup stop of the season.
Competition began early Saturday morning with the qualification round sending the top 16 athletes through to the finals, where the best-of-the-best would drop in one after another to battle for the win.
Aussie Jakara Anthony achieved her first career World Cup podium with a silver medal in China and now sits third in the overall World Cup discipline standings.
Fellow Australian James Matheson achieved a personal best with his performance in the Super Final on Saturday.

AUSTRALIA SECURE SILVER MEDALS AT PARA ALPINE EUROPA CUP
Three days of Para Alpine action in St Moritz, Switzerland has resulted in team Australia coming away with three silver medals and plenty of encouraging signs ahead of next month's World Championships.

FIRST FIS SKI CROSS WORLD CUP BEGINS
The 2018/19 FIS Ski Cross World Cup is underway after a lack of snow and warm temperatures caused two event cancellations in Val Thorens and Montafon. The first races of the new season were held overnight in Arosa, Switzelrand, with dual Olympian Sami Kennedy-Sim prgessing through to the finals.
Both Douglas Crawford and Lilly Speiser performed well on World Cup debut.

DEW TOUR
Held in Breckenridge, Colorado across four days of scintillating ski and snowboard action, some of the world’s best, riders came together for a celebration of creativity and style.
One week on after kick starting his 2018/19 FIS Snowboard World Cup season with gold, Scotty James was backing it up with another first-place finish. The only rider to score in the nineties, James went straight to the top of the leader board where he stayed with his first run.
Paralympians Ben Tudhope and Simon Patmore were also on snow and performing well for their country.

PARA ALPINE WORLD CUP CANCELLED
World Para Alpine Skiing announced that the World Cup in Sella Nevea, Italy, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
The competition was due to take place from 19 to 21 December as the opening World Cup of the 2018-2019 season. Zagreb, Croatia, will host the next World Cup on 16 and 17 January.
