Australian Cross Country skier Jessica Yeaton has got her 2019 off to a great start with a standout performance at the USA Cross Country Nationals. While the Moguls team have one eye on their next World Cup.

AUSSIE CROSS COUNTRY SKIERS IN ACTION AT USA NATIONALS

PyeongChang Olympian Jessica Yeaton has given her 2018/19 season a great boost with a silver medal in the USA Cross Country Nationals women’s 10-kilometre classic interval.

Despite the shallow snow, Yeaton rose to the challenge as one of 246 skiers to compete against some of America’s strongest cross-country talent.

Jessica Yeaton was hot on the heels of race winner Caitlin Patterson, less than 30 seconds behind with a time of 31:05.5 minutes.

MOGULS TRAIN AT WINTER PARK AHEAD OF CALGARY WORLD CUP

With up to 10 Aussies bound for Calgary in Canada for the first FIS Freestyle Moguls World Cup of 2019, some athletes are currently based at Winter Park in preparation.

Athletes are undergoing on snow training and video analysis in a bid to arrive at Canada ready to lay down their best runs.
