Aussies in action at NorAms

Aussies were in action at the first alpine North American Cup (NorAms) over the weekend, with the women’s competition at Loveland and Copper Mountain hosting men’s and women’s competition.
Representing Australia in the women’s competition at Loveland were Kathryn Parker, Lily Tomkinson, Rebecca Brown and Madison Hoffman. Parker was a stand out performer in the women’s for the Aussies, finishing 24th from a field of 90 racers.
Eight Aussie skiers competed at Copper with Louis Muhlen Schulte achieving the best restyle of 18th in the Slalom and two finishes of 23rd place in GS with NAST Teammate Dom Demschar one spot in front with a 22nd place.
The Men’s competitions also featured the cancelled men’s slalom competition from Vail.
The NorAms now move to Canada, firstly to Lake Louise from 4-8 December and then on to Panorama from 9-16 December.
In the Alpine World Cups, there will be three prior to Christmas with Greta Small and Dominic Demschar representing Australia:
• Lake Louise (CAN) 28 Nov – 3 Dec – Greta Small
• Beaver Creek (USA) 29 Nov – 3 Dec – Dominic Demschar
• St Moritz (SUI) 8-10 Dec – Greta Small
