Australian XC Open Championships

The first races of the 2022 Australian Open Championship for Cross Country Skiing took place at Falls Creek on the weekend of July 30/31. Four different skiers won each of the four events held. Congratulations to the medal winners and to all athletes taking part in the competitions. The event was organised by Birkebeiner Nordic Ski Club on behalf of Snow Australia.

These events form part of the FIS Australia - New Zealand Continental Cup series. With two races out of five down there is a 3-way tie between Lars Young Vik, Phillip Bellingham and Seve de Campo in the men's cup, while Katerina Paul leads the women's standings ahead of Phoebe Cridland.
