Ben goes back to back

Ben Tudhope couldn’t have hoped for a better result during the World Para Snowboard World Cup in Pyha, Finland, finishing in first place in both men’s SB-LL events.

The Pyha World Cup was the first competition for Ben since the passing of his coach, and mentor, Mikko Wendelin.

Tudhope said that he was proud to be able to honour Wendelin with podium finishes in both of his races.

“This is all for him,” Tudhope said.

“We live and stand by him, and I could just hear him in my head all day going ‘this is for you, just ride your best, do your best, and don’t worry about anything else,” Tudhope said.

“I really wanted to do him proud so to get the win today, it’s probably one of my biggest wins to date and I will treasure this moment forever.”
