Ben & Maya combine for historic event

Up-and-coming snowboarder Maya Billingham and Paralympic medallist Ben Tudhope will team up tonight for a historic event in Grasgehren, Germany.
At the conclusion of the Para Snowboard World Cup and prior to the Snowboard Cross Europa Cup this weekend, an Inclusive Mixed Team Snowboard Cross event will be held.
The event requires one Para and one non-Para athlete in each team, with no more than one athlete per gender.
This is the first time this race has taken place at a FIS event, with Billingham and Tudhope going in as the top seeded team.
"It is a remarkable experience that carries a sense of honor responsibility and excitement for the future of snowboard cross racing," said Billingham, 18, who has been competing at European Cup events this year.
"Competing with legendary athletes like Ben Tudhope is an amazing opportunity that anyone could dream of."
The pair come into the event following Tudhope's silver medal on Thursday at the Para Snowboard World Cup.
He has a second World Cup race on Friday before the Inclusive race later in the day.
