No Fast & Female Australia This Winter
Since 2012 Fast & Female has been a staple on the Australian winter calendar, introducing hundreds of participants to cross country skiing skills and promoting active lifestyles in an encouraging, fun and colourful setting. Unfortunately, due to a recent change in Fast & Female's organisational structure, Australia is not permitted to run any events under the Fast & Female banner this winter.
Consequently, Australia's event organisers have decided to cancel the events scheduled at Lake Mountain on 23 June and at Falls Creek on 6 July. At this stage it is hoped that the Perisher event on 3 August may be able to proceed under another name, however potential participants should contact the organisers before turning up on the day.
There are no changes to the long-running Ski de Femme events hosted by ACTXC at Perisher on 7 July and by Birkebeiner Nordic Ski Club at Falls Creek on 10 August.
