Cross Country season roars into gear

While all eyes were on the weather throughout the week, competitors were not to be held back with a number of Cross Country competitions taking place on both sides of the border over the weekend.
At Falls Creek, it was the Victorian Junior Cross Country Championships, while at Perisher action on Saturday was for the ACT Open/Junior Sprints followed by the NSW Junior/Open/Masters Distance Championships on Sunday.
All three events indicated the season is now in full swing and it was great to see some good gains made by many since last year.
