FIS Assistant Race Director Visits Melbourne to conduct TD Clinics

Snow Australia would like to thank all who participated in the FIS Technical Delegate Clinics over the weekend.
Technical Delegates (TDs) perform a crucial role within competitive Snowsports. Every FIS event must have a qualified TD in attendance as a guarantor that competition is conducted in accordance with the FIS rules.
The TD oversees entries, course requirements, safety, appeals processes, jury decisions and results.
Without the work of our Australian TDs, no FIS events could be run in our domestic season.
FIS Assistant Race Director, Peter Krogoll, travelled to Melbourne to conduct clinics in Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross Park & Pipe and Freestyle (moguls and aerials). Participants were able to attend in person or online.
These clinics allow current TDs to maintain their licenses as well as providing the first step for prospective TD’s to become accredited before competing their practical and written exams.
