The third stop of the four-event FIS JNR SBX Series, powered by the Chumpy Pullin Foundation, was held at Hotham this week with a few fresh faces on the podium.

Abbey Wilson won gold in the Women’s event, ahead of Japan’s Mio Noguchi in silver and Aussie Tara Jones in third.

Wilson’s victory has given her a boost in the overall women's series leaderboard, where she currently has 200 points and sits in second overall behind Lara Walsh on 240 points, after Walsh’s victories in the opening two events. Alize Steggall is third in the overall leaderboard with 145 points.

In the men’s event, Yuto Tsukahara from Japan won gold in Hotham, in front of Aussies James Johnston and Oscar Sayers in second and third respectively.

After taking out the first two events, Max Vardy is still the Men’s overall leader with 214 points. Cameron Turner is in second on 176 points with Sayers third on 150 points.

The inaugural FIS JNR SBX series champions will be decided at the fourth and final event at Perisher on 12 August.

Registrations for the Perisher event will open soon, but in the meantime, see the full series leaderboard and more information HERE

Snow Australia thanks all the athletes, parents, resorts and partners that have made the Series a reality this year and we look forward to the final event in the coming weeks.
