Inaugural NSTC Open Day sets tone for future years

The inaugural National Snowsports Training Centre (NSTC) Open Day on Saturday 22 February was such a success that plans are already in place to hold it again in 2026.

While sessions were free, bookings were necessary to take part and around 80% of places in all indoor and outdoor sessions were filled.

The Open Day accommodated for people of all ranges of skills, and it was fantasic to see newcomers to the sport trying their hand at the facilities for the first time. During the airbag sessions, around 40% of more than 100 participants had never attended the Park before.

The Tiny Tumbler sessions for our youngest visitors were extremely popular, while the Open Bounce Acro sessions were at 100% capacity.

With music and the barbecue fired up all day long, there was a positive vibe throughout the venue and no doubt that the NSTC Open Day will become an annual event.
