Snow Australia FIS JNR SBX Series – Powered by the Chumpy Pullin Foundation

Snow Australia is thrilled to announce a partnership between the Chumpy Pullin Foundation and the new FIS JNR SBX Series.

With events across four Australian resorts, the FIS JNR SBX Series will be an ideal development opportunity for the next generation of snowboard cross athletes.

“The Chumpy Pullin Foundation is excited to partner with Snow Australia and the resorts to be a part of a series that was very close to Chumpy’s passion and vision for the sport of Snowboard Cross,” a Foundation Spokesperson said.

“National Snowboard Committee initiatives like the Junior SBX Series really gives the grassroots of Snowboard Cross a place to develop talent and grow the next generation.”

$5,000 of cash and prizes will now be awarded throughout the FIS JNR SBX  Series, courtesy of the Chumpy Pullin Foundation and its partners.

An overall national champion in both men’s and women’s divisions will also be crowned at the conclusion of the four-event series.

The 2022 Snow Australia FIS JNR SBX Series will be open to SBX athletes aged between 15 and 19 (on 31 December 2022) and all athletes will need to hold a Snowboard National Racer Membership with Snow Australia. 

2022 Event Schedule:

• Thredbo – 31 July.  Entries are now open.  Register HERE.
• Mt Buller – 14 August.  More info HERE.
• Hotham – 31 August.  Entries will be open shortly through the Hotham Website. 
• Perisher – TBC.
